The Tasmanian Forest Festival relies heavily on support from its local community and as such, relies on many organisations in the staging of the event.  The aim of the festival is not only to promote the importance of our forest industry within the community, but it also provides an avenue for many community groups to assist in many ways - whether it is having a stall, running an activity or to rubbish collection and cleaning.  

The community groups provide goods and services at the event, and this in turn makes a nice little fundraiser for each of them – which again extends their effectiveness in the wider area.  If your community group would like to raise some extra funds and become involved in the event, please contact the Event Secretary, providing details of your group and what goods and/or services you are able to provide.  (Please note, your group must have current public liability insurance.)
